A beautiful set of four vintage Roslyn China plates, made in England, with an unusual square shape and softly scalloped corners. Each plate is decorated with small orange floral sprays, green foliage and a graphic black, cream and burnt-orange border, finished with delicate gilt detailing. A lovely example of the more decorative English china of the early 20th century.

Condition
Good vintage condition with expected signs of age and use, including light surface marks, some gentle wear to the gilt decoration and minor age-related discolouration. A few small marks are visible on the plates. No major chips or cracks apparent.

The combination of the geometric border and tiny floral sprays gives these a really distinctive Art Deco-era feel. The square shape makes them especially good for mixing into a collection of mismatched vintage china.
