Hi, I'm Emily

Lourose began with two things I care deeply about: beautiful clothing and the planet we share.

Watching the fashion industry become increasingly fast, disposable and wasteful made me want to create something different. I wanted to build a business that celebrated what already exists instead of constantly chasing what comes next.

Vintage felt like the natural answer.

There's something incredibly special about giving a beautifully made piece another life. Clothes with history, craftsmanship and character deserve to be worn, not forgotten.

Today, I spend my days sourcing vintage pieces that feel timeless, easy to wear and at home in a modern wardrobe. Every item is chosen by hand with the hope that it'll become someone's new favourite for years to come.

  • ⚘ Thoughtfully sourced

Every piece is hand picked rather than bought in bulk

  • ᨖ Made to last

I look for quality fabrics, beautiful construction and timeless design

  • ᨒ Better for the planet

Choosing vintage helps extend the life of existing clothing and reduces demand for new production.

  • ◡̈ Easy to wear

    Vintage curated for modern life

My philosophy

Why vintage?

I don't believe the most sustainable garment is the newest one.

The clothes we already have in the world are full of beauty, craftsmanship and life. By choosing vintage, we're celebrating those pieces instead of adding to an industry built on constant consumption.

Lourose isn't about perfection or trends.

It's about buying less, choosing well and surrounding ourselves with things that are made to last.

I hope every piece you find here becomes part of your own story.

Thank you for supporting a slower way of shopping.

Every order helps keep beautiful clothing in circulation, supports a small independent business and proves that fashion can be thoughtful as well as beautiful.

I'm so happy you're here.

Emily ♡
