Vintage Original 1940s Hand Tailored Wool Tweed Jacket and Skirt Suit Set
Incredible high quality hand tailored houndstooth tweet jacket and skirt set in green, blue, black and brown. This fully lined wool suit jacket features a looped bertha style rabbit trimmed collar to the cape shaped jacket. Carved wood effect circular buttons line the front along with 2 side pockets just below the waistline. The pencil skirt has been more recently re-lined and fits high waisted, fastening with a zip up and 2 hook and eyes at the side. Features a vent effect pleat at the back at the bottom. The jacket does have some marks to the inside lining as photographed to be expected with its age and much loved previous life.
